Free readiness scorecard

Know whether you are ready
before you spend.

Eight practical checks expose the gaps that make an early media test hard to read: the offer, conversion, landing page, measurement, economics, creative, budget, and account readiness.

What are ChatGPT Ads?

Paid placements.
Independent answers.

ChatGPT Ads are clearly labelled sponsored placements that can appear below relevant conversations. They do not shape, rank, or change ChatGPT's answer.

01
Matched to conversational intent

Campaigns use themes and context hints to help match useful offers with relevant conversations—not exact-match keyword lists.

02
A complete ad unit

Placements can include your advertiser name, title, copy, image, and landing page.

03
Built to be measured

Ads Manager reports delivery, clicks, spend, and conversions when measurement is configured.

Example conversationIllustration

Independent answer

Compare course depth, timetable flexibility, learner support, and the evidence behind claimed outcomes.

Example format only. Not a live ad or an OpenAI endorsement.

What Velro Media tests

Account readiness · conversation themes · creative variants · landing-page fit · conversion tracking

A familiar structure

Like Meta Ads.
Different matching.

If you have used Meta Ads, the campaign workflow will feel familiar. The important difference is how ChatGPT decides relevance: broad conversational intent replaces traditional interest targeting and exact keyword lists.

AreaMeta AdsChatGPT Ads
StructureCampaign → ad set → adsCampaign → ad group → ads
MatchingAudiences, interests and behavioural signalsConversation intent, context hints and ad relevance
CreativeCopy, image or video, headline and destinationTitle, copy, image and landing page
OptimisationReach, traffic, leads, sales and conversionsReach, clicks and tracked conversions
ReportingAudience, placement and creative performanceDelivery, spend, ad-group, creative and conversion results

Context hints are broad thematic signals—not exact-match keywords, guaranteed conversations, or a report of what an individual user asked.

The six-week sprint

A controlled test.
A useful answer.

This is not a broad retainer or an experiment with no finish line. The scope is intentionally narrow so the result is easier to read.

01

Readiness before media

We check platform eligibility, your offer, conversion path, tracking, and baseline economics before recommending a launch.

EligibilityTracking QABaseline
02

A deliberately narrow test

We build one campaign for one country and one conversion goal, with two intent-led ad groups and 6–8 live ads. Reserve variants are introduced when the budget supports useful learning.

03

Weekly learning, clearly documented

We monitor delivery, quality, cost, and conversion signals each week, then make controlled changes with a clear learning log.

04

A commercial decision

You finish with a plain-English report that tells you whether to stop, iterate, or scale—and what the evidence says.

Decision reportNext stepsNo lock-in
The promise isn't leads. It's a reliable decision.

The Velro Media standard

New ad channels create noise, urgency, and bad promises. We define what success would need to look like before the test begins.

If the evidence is weak, we say so. If the channel earns another round, you will know why.

How it works

From readiness
to a clear call.

Before kickoff01

Pass the fit gate

A short call confirms category, budget, account readiness, conversion tracking, and the decision this test needs to answer.

Week 0102

Set the baseline and build

We document your economics, measurement plan, offer, and success threshold, then prepare the focused campaign for review.

Weeks 02–0503

Run the live test

We run four live-media weeks, review performance, and make controlled changes to context themes, bids, messages, creative, and conversion friction.

Week 0604

Make the call

We reconcile spend with qualified outcomes and deliver a stop, iterate, or scale recommendation with the next action.

Every sprint ends with one of three honest recommendations.

01 · STOP The signal does not justify more spend.02 · ITERATE A specific change deserves one more test.03 · SCALE The economics support controlled expansion.

Who it is for

Fit matters more
than hype.

We start with ANZ advertisers where a focused campaign can produce a measurable conversion—not a vague awareness brief.

Strong fit

Ready to validate

  • ANZ education, training, or digital-product business
  • Already investing in paid acquisition
  • A working landing page and trackable conversion
  • NZ$1,500 minimum; NZ$2,500–NZ$4,000 recommended media
Not yet

Fix the foundations first

  • No reliable conversion tracking
  • Offer or landing page is still changing
  • No one can follow up on leads or sales
  • No baseline economics for comparison
Not a fit

We will say no

  • Restricted or high-risk category
  • A campaign that depends on guaranteed results
  • Enterprise-only B2B with a tiny test audience
  • Insufficient budget for a readable test

Primary focus: education, training, and digital products. Prosumer SaaS is considered only where there is a clear self-serve conversion and enough audience to produce a readable test.

Who runs the sprint

Founder-led.
Hands-on from New Zealand.

Velro Media is built and run by Woo-Joo Yoo. Every founding-client sprint is scoped, reviewed, and reported with Woo-Joo directly, so you always know what is being tested, what changed, and what the evidence means.

This is a new specialist service. The founding rate reflects that early stage—we will earn proof through documented client work, not pretend a portfolio already exists.

Founding-client offer

One price.
One decision.

The first three paid clients get the complete six-week sprint at the founding rate. Media spend is separate and stays in your account.

Straight answers

What you should know before paying.

01What exactly is a ChatGPT Ad?

It is a clearly labelled sponsored placement that can appear below a relevant ChatGPT conversation. It is visually separate from ChatGPT's answer, and advertisers cannot pay to shape or change that answer. The ad can include an advertiser name, title, copy, image, and landing page.

02Is ChatGPT advertising like Meta Ads?

Structurally, yes: there are campaigns, ad groups, budgets, bids, creative variations, landing pages, and conversion measurement. The main difference is matching. Meta leans heavily on audiences, interests, and behavioural signals; ChatGPT Ads use conversational intent, context hints, and relevance to the current conversation.

03Is ChatGPT advertising available to every business?

No. OpenAI currently lists Ads Manager as available in Australia and New Zealand, but account verification, category, policy, and inventory still affect eligibility. We verify readiness before launch. If your account cannot proceed during the readiness stage, we cancel the second invoice and still deliver the audit.

04Can you guarantee leads or revenue?

No—and a credible test should not pretend otherwise. The sprint is designed to produce a reliable decision from the available signal. We agree the success criteria before media is spent.

05Is ad spend included in NZ$2,500?

No. The NZ$2,500 founding-client fee covers management for the six-week sprint. Media is paid separately in your own account. NZ$1,500 is the minimum learning budget; NZ$2,500–NZ$4,000 is our recommended range for a stronger conversion-validation test, subject to your economics, eligibility, and inventory.

06What tracking work is included?

The sprint includes a tracking audit, measurement plan, and QA of the agreed conversion path. New Pixel or tag-manager implementation, Conversions API development, custom integrations, and landing-page rebuilding are separate work and will be quoted before launch if required.

07Why is this called a founding-client offer?

Velro Media is reserving this price for its first three paid engagements while we build documented case studies and refine the operating playbook. The standard sprint will be NZ$3,500 after those places are filled.

08Who owns the account, creative, and data?

You do. Media stays in your account and you receive the campaign plan, creative, learning log, and final decision report.

09Is Velro Media part of OpenAI?

No. Velro Media is an independent New Zealand marketing service led by Woo-Joo Yoo. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or an official partner of OpenAI.
